Power & Side Steps
- Steps for trucks, 4x4's and SUV's come in a few different forms with each having their own use. Some of the following types include...
- Nerf Steps: These form of steps are more minimalistic and sleek as they feature a long steel base that hugs your rocker with designated stepping areas that stick out. Perfect for people who want a little step getting in but do not want the bulky look or low clearance of a running board
- Power Steps: These are running boards that deploy down when you open the door and retract back up when the door is closed. This allows for a nice clean look when retracted up and a functional low step when retracted down.
- Running Boards: Running boards are a long flat gripped surface that runs the length of the cab and can be stepped on anywhere. They are perfect for someone who wants a larger stepping area

Amp Research Power Steps
- Amp Research makes one of our favorite products that we sell, and that is the PowerStep, which comes in a couple different variations
- The PowerStep is an electronically operated running board that will deploy down when the door to your vehicle is open giving you a nice large and low stepping point to make it easy to get into your vehicle, and when the door closes they retract back up giving giving your vehicle a clean and tight appearance
- These steps are perfect for people who have lifted vehicles, for people that need a step that goes lower than their fixed position running boards, or someone who wants the function of a running board but does not like the bulky look of a running board on the side of the vehicle
- What we like about them to is that they are reliable and can withstand severe weather conditions including snow and ice, and their PowerSteps are also backed by a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty
PowerStep & PowerStep Xtreme
- The PowerStep is Amp Research's step that started it all and is also their most minimalistic looking
- They also offer an Xtreme version which includes two motors on one side instead of one, and is designed for people who find themselves in snowy or icy environments and may need the extra power to deploy their steps
Powerstep XL
- The PowerStep XL is a bit different from the PowerStep as it deploys down 3" farther than the PowerStep, and it features a black supporting base that runs along the rocker of your vehicle
- This step is mainly geared towards people that have a lifted vehicle and want a stepping surface that would mimic the height of a regular PowerStep on a stock height vehicle
